Check In and Express Check Out Policy
We begin our check-in process at 4:00 PM. An authorization for $100 in addition to the estimated full length of stay as a security deposit will be processed on the credit card used upon check-in. Authorizations are released on checkout day, and depending on your bank, the release can take up to 7-10 business days. Early check-in is available, and rates and availability are based on occupancy and availability and subject to fees if applicable.
Check-out time is 11:00 am. Express Check-Out allows you to check out of your room without having to return to the Front Desk. The credit card you used at check-in is billed for your charges or purchases during your stay, and a copy of your bill will be emailed to you upon departure. Every guest on departure day is automatically checked out of the system. Late checkout is based on occupancy and availability and will require an additional fee. Please contact the front desk for details.
4:00 PM Same-Day Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a reservation that was made on this site or directly through a Norwalk Inn hotel agent, and that, for any reason, between the time of reserving and prior to 4 pm on the date of arrival is canceled, there will be no penalty. Third-party reservations, such as Expedia and Booking.com reservations, if you do not cancel within 24 hours of the date of arrival or you do not check in, the entire first night’s lodging and taxes will be forfeited. Early check-outs are subject to the same cancellation policy. The cancellation policy may vary for special offers and packages.
Reservations booked within a group block are held to the cancellation policy stated in the group agreement and are separate from the above policies. All prepaid reservations are non-refundable.
Deposit Policy
There is no advance deposit required when you book on our website or directly with a hotel agent at Norwalk Inn.
To guarantee your reservation, a major credit card guarantee is required.
Credit card authorization forms are available for third-party payment and require a front and back copy of a valid ID and a matching credit card holder.
Age, Child, and Pet Policy
There is no age requirement to reserve or check into a room.
Children 18 and under stay free.
Sorry, pets are not allowed. Service animals are accepted for guests with disabilities.
Shuttle Services
The Inn provides an ideal location and prevalent shuttle service recommendations such as Taxi, Uber, Uber pass and Dattco.

Taxes
The following local tax rates will be applied to all guest reservations.
CT State Tax & Lodging Tax: 15%
No Smoking Policy
The Norwalk Inn & Conference Center is a 100% smoke-free facility.
A $250 recovery fee will be charged to guests.
Salt Water Pool & Sun Deck Policy
The Inn’s seasonal saltwater pool and deck are open exclusively to registered guests June-October (weather permitting).
Food and beverages are served from The Inn’s Lounge menu.
The pool timing is 9 am to 8 pm. All guests must be registered.
In the event of a private party, management reserves the right to close for a duration of that day.
Please note there is an $8 pool fee, per person per stay, for guests who would like to use the pool and sundeck; this fee is waived for children 12 and under.
Incidentals Authorization
Upon check-in, please have a credit card ready to hand to the front desk agent. The credit card will be swiped and authorized at $100 per stay. This is strictly a pending charge.
Upon check-out, this $100 authorization for incidentals shall be released to your card if you did not choose to charge to your room during your stay.
If you have chosen to utilize this convenience, charges will be made, and the balance will be released upon check-out.
